Driving to the Lake District, UK to spend Fall break with friends, we stopped at Blenheim Palace (Churchill family estate) which was really worth it. The audio guided visit through the Palace even fascinated our kids! Nice job people. And while i’m at it, i’ll recommend The Crown in Woodstock for dinner: English food at it’s best and child friendly!
In the Lakes we stayed in an airbnb (what else? we’ve almost exclusively travelled airbnb since 2014) that is now listed here and fit the nine people we were perfectly. The weather was perfect for walking almost every day, i tagged the photos so you know where we were.
